What a full year of Basic gets you

Why a year is where Basic makes the most sense, and what the tier does and does not include.

$5 a month for a full year

$60 once, against $180 if you bought the same twelve months one at a time. That is $120 kept, or 67%, and it is the lowest per-month figure anywhere on this site.

The whole year decided once

22,000+ channels and 127,794 films and series for 365 days, on a single payment. Nothing renews, no card is stored, and the line simply ends when the year does.

Buy the year only if you already know

Twelve months is the right call after you have watched an evening or two with us, not before. The trial is $5 and a single month is $15 — both exist so this one does not have to be a guess.

One payment, no renewal

Basic ends on its last day and stays ended. No card is stored on our side, so nothing can charge itself while you are not looking.

Move up without starting over

If a new television changes your mind, support charges the difference for the days you have left and your login stays exactly the same. Nothing is reinstalled on any device.

The cheapest line we will sell

Basic bought by the year is the lowest per-month figure on this site. Below it we would be cutting capacity, and we would rather publish a floor than a discount that shows up as buffering at nine in the evening.

Same length, other tier

12 Months on Premium costs $120

Premium costs $60 more over a year, about $5 a month. It buys true 4K where the broadcaster supplies it, 54,000+ channels instead of 22,000+, and roughly 92,000 more on-demand titles. Worth it on a 4K panel, wasted on an older set.

Questions about the 12 Months Basic plan

Is $5 a month the cheapest thing on this site?
Yes. Nothing we publish goes below it on either tier, and there is no code that takes it lower. What raises the total is extra screens, and the ladder for those is printed at the top of this page.
A year of Basic or half a year of Premium?
A year of Basic is $60; six months of Premium is $80. The Basic year gives you twice the days in HD and FHD. The Premium half-year gives you 4K where it is broadcast and roughly 92,000 more on-demand titles. If your television is 1080p, take the year.
What if I stop watching after three months?
Then you paid $60 for a year and used a quarter of it, which is exactly why the shorter plans exist. Refunds run for seven days from activation and no further. If you are not sure yet, the $25 quarter answers the same question for less than half the money.
Why is there a cheaper tier at all?
Because a lot of people watch on a 1080p television and would be paying for a picture their screen cannot show. Selling them Premium would make us more money and leave them with nothing extra to look at.
Can I buy Basic for one room and Premium for another?
They would be two separate lines with two separate logins, which works but is rarely what people want. One subscription with two connections keeps a single set of details and a single end date — compare the two-screen row on either plan page before you decide.
Do the screens have to be in the same house?
There is no address check, but four streams from four very different locations look like a shared login and can get a line flagged. The count is meant for one household — buy the number of screens that household actually uses at once, up to 4.

The guarantee

Seven days to change your mind on a 365-day Basic plan

The first seven days of the year are refundable in full: $60 back to the account that paid it, no form and no argument. After that the days you bought are yours to use, so if you are unsure, start shorter and come back to this one.
