Favoriting the channels you actually watch afterward means you never dig through the full list again — that one step saves more time than any setting on the Roku itself, and it works the same way whether the group you want is Indian channels or any other regional category the service carries.

Check whether the issue is scoped to that one group. Switch to a channel from an entirely different category — if it plays cleanly while Indian channels stutter, the fault most likely sits with that specific server-side feed, not your Roku or your Wi-Fi. Switching the Indian channel off and back on is a fast test too: if it recovers instantly, the stream had a momentary stall rather than an actual bandwidth shortage on your end. Some buffering is oversold capacity on the provider's side, which no Roku setting can fix, so a service's uptime figure matters here too.
