Does it load an external EPG and hold 7-14 days of guide data without choking? How does it behave with a very large list, given that every player keeps the visible channel list in memory and turns unstable above roughly 18,000 entries, which is why group hiding is a performance setting rather than tidiness? Can you set the buffer to none? Those four answers were true in 2024 and are true now. Interface taste is the part that dates, and it is the part every list argues about.

Because the year in the title is doing marketing work rather than editorial work. A list republished each January mostly swaps the date and reorders the same names, and readers in help communities call this out constantly, since the recurring complaint is that IPTV rankings are paid placements wearing a review's clothing. We are not going to hand you another ordered list. The honest version is a test you can run yourself in an evening: install two players, load the same line into both, and see which one switches channels faster and survives your group list. Your remote, your TV, your line, which is the only ranking that transfers.

Split the week. Days one and two are apps only: install a sideloaded player and an Appstore player, load the same credentials into both, and compare channel-switch time, guide accuracy and behavior once you hide groups. Days three to seven are the line only, using whichever app you settled on, tested at the hours you actually watch and including one live event.
